Acceptable Use Policy

Muselight is for creating. These rules keep it safe and legal for everyone. They're part of our Terms of Service and apply to your prompts, uploads, results and how you use them.

Never allowed

• Sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises children, in any form, including fictional or drawn content. We report it to the authorities.
• Intimate or sexual images of real people without their clear consent, including "undressing" or deepfake images of someone.
• Deceptive deepfakes: realistic images, video or voices of real people that could mislead others into thinking they said or did something they didn't, especially for fraud, harassment, scams or to influence elections.
• Harassment, threats, bullying or content that targets someone for their race, religion, nationality, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or other protected characteristic.
• Violent extremism, terrorism, or content that encourages violence or self-harm.
• Illegal activity, including fraud, scams, forged documents, and content that breaks the law where you live or in the UK.
• Infringing other people's rights, such as uploading work you don't have the right to use, or passing off others' trademarks, likeness or voice as your own or theirs without permission.
• Malware, spam or content designed to deceive people into giving away personal information.

Use the Service fairly

• Don't try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits or safety filters of the Service or the models.
• Don't use stolen payment cards, or resell, share or trade accounts or Credits.
• Don't use automated scripts to sign up for accounts or abuse sign-up offers.
• Don't use the Service to build a competing service by copying it.

Real people

You can use Muselight with photos of yourself, and of other people who have given you permission. Be honest about AI: if you publish realistic AI images or video of a real person, make it clear they're AI-generated.

Model providers' rules

The companies that run each model have their own rules too, and some models refuse certain requests. A request a model refuses is refunded like a failed run.

What happens if rules are broken

We may block a request, remove results, pause or close the account, keep Credits involved in the abuse, and report illegal content to the police or bodies such as the Internet Watch Foundation. To report misuse, email support@muselight.studio.
